At the airport, you will see that Tree Trunk Travel representative is waiting to give a warm welcome and later he will escort you to your hotel, previously reserved. After upon arrival in Hotel discuss your tour itinerary with our representative in Lobby and after that our representative will help you to check into formalities.

Meeting and assistance upon arrival at Srinagar airport and transfer to Hotel.
In the afternoon you take a shikara ride on Dal Lake, where you visit the floating vegetable gardens & Open Dal Lake . While riding the Shikara’s there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching with plentiful species including Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe etc.
In the afternoon take a tour of world famous Mughal Gardens, Nishant Bagh and Shalimar Bagh.

Full day excursion to Pahalgam 2440 Mtrs (vale of Kashmir) on the way visit Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins and Anantnag sulpher spring. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. Enjoy the nature charm of the valley. In the evening return back to Hotel

After breakfast drive to Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. It is also popular for its golf course (in summer), the highest in the world and skiing during the winter season. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. We will have Gandola ride here.

Srinagar– Sonmarg – Kargil
Post breakfast we drive to Kargil via Sonmarg, One of the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. In Sonmarg one can take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Upon arrival in Kargil we check in at our hotel for overnight stay.

Kargil – Lamayuru – Leh
After leisurely breakfast, leave for Leh. On the way you can visit the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining “Moonland” hills.

Leh – Shey – Thiskey – Hemis – Leh
Morning after breakfast Visit the Hemis Monastery – The richest and the largest monastery in Ladakh, on the same route, way back to Leh, we’ll visit Thiksey Monastery which belongs to red hat sect of Tibetan Buddhism, and Shey Palace – summer palace of the kings of Ladakh called Singey Namgyal. Facing Shey across the river Indus lies the Stok Palace Museum. A visit to the museum will be followed by a drive back to Leh. Overnight at the hotel in Leh.

Leh – Khardonga Pass – Nubra Valley
Morning we depart towards Northwards across the Khardong La the highest motorable road in the world, which is at a hight of 5570 mts. (18300 ft.) after a brief halt at the pass, we continue our drive to a different landscape. We arrive at the village of Hunder in Nubra Valley, check-in to a tented camp.

Nubra – Leh
Morning we drive or walk up to visit Diskit Monastery. After that, we visit the Double Humped Camel Breeding Center. This camel also known as the Bactrian Camel is the principal animal of inner Asia used especially on the Northern part of the route beyond Karakoram Pass.
Later we drive back to Leh from the same route across the Khardong La pass. Upon arrival in Leh, we check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Leh – Pangong lake – Leh
After an early breakfast, we leave for Pangong Lake. We drive towards Changla Pass 5486 Mtrs. The long easy ascent takes you to Changla pass through its winding roads passing through Sakti Village. Stop at the Changla Pass for a quick photograph session and drive down to the village of Tangtse, where you can relax for a cup of tea. Leaving Tangtse for Pangong you pass through few small villages of Changthang and finally you can have a sudden view of the Pangong lake situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 133 Kms long with half of its running the other side of the “Indo China Border”. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. After the success of 3 Idiots, this beautiful natural location has attracted more tourists from all over the world.
Following the visit drive back to Leh.
