Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8364 Ft / 2550 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather).

On way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included & will be approx INR 180.00 per person), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) and panoramic view of Tea Estate.

Darjeeling / Gangtok (100 Km 3-4 Hours)

Today after having breakfast drive to Gangtok. Upon arrival check in pre booked hotel.

Later you will visit Rumtek Monastery,Botanical Garden, and Santi View Point,  Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok.

Gangtok / Tsomgo Lake / Gangtok (50 Km 2-3 Hours One way)

Morning same day excursion to Tsomgo Lake. The Tsomgo lake in Sikkim is a holy lake worshipped by the sikkimese. Tsomgo (Changu) lake, which is hardly 20 km away from the famous Nathula Pass and about 400 km from Lhasa. Its cool, placid water harmonies with the picturesque beauty around, which is increased by its reflection in thelake. A small temple of Lord Shiva is built on the lakeside. Primula flowers and other alpine plantation grow around the Tsomgo lake Sikkim, which has an average depth of 50 ft, provides a pristine beauty to this place. A footpath along the Tsomgo lake takes one to a resting shed – a walk of about half a kilometre. During the winter months the Tsomo Lake becomes frozen.

Gangtok / Bagdogra / Departure (130 Km 4-5 Hours)

Morning drive to Bagdogra airport to board the flight to onward destinations.

Nathu La Pass Tour – , please note that the same is allowed from Wednesday to Sunday and limited number of vehicles are granted permits for the same. For the excursion to Nathula Pass a special permit is required and to procure the permit we will need 4 passport size photographs and one photo identity proof of each guest travelling at least 15 days prior to the date of travel so that we can apply for the same. The only Indian Passport / ID proof allowed at Nathulla Pass. The additional cost would be INR 6000.
