Morning transfer to train station to board the train to Kalka. Upon arrival board the toy train (Himalayan Queen). The Himalyan Queen is the best way to travel from wonderful hills area to Shimla. We will enjoy the narrow trek and cross 107 tunnels during this journey.

Morning we will visit Kufri. Situated near the Himalayan range, Kufri is a picturesque hill station situated 20 km from Shimla. Founded in 1819 by the British, the popularity of the hill station as a tourist spot grew only in the last few decades. Kufri derives its name from ‘Kufr’ which means lake.

You can visit Viceregal lodge (closed on Monday) which is 6 story structure and is a centre for advance studies. Also drove upto Jakhu Temple. This place is the highest point of Shimla. There is a famous temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman – the monkey god. Visit St. Micheal’s Cathedral on the Ridge, which is the second oldest church in north India and is known for its fine glass windows.

Morning drive to Dharmshala enroute visit to Manikaran and Kullu. Following the tour drive to Dharamshala.

A distance of 260 kilometer on the way stopping at Baijnath known for its Shiva Temple and further at Palampur famous For Tea Garden. Dharamhsala is a hill-station lying on the spur of the Dhauladhar Mountains about 18 kms north-east of Kangra, It is known for its scenic beauty set amidst high pine and oak trees. Since 1960, when it became the temporary headquarters of His Holiness The Dalai Lama, Dharamshala has risen to international repute as “The Little Lhasa in India”.
