Morning Heritage Steam Train Joy Ride from Darjeeling to Ghoom for 1.5hrs. Enjoy Steam Train Ride in the morning to Ghoom, the highest Station in India. Stop at Batasia Loop and then proceed to Ghoom Himalayan Railway Museum. Back to Darjeeling.

Day 03: Darjeeling / Mirik / Darjeeling

Early morning breakfast – Next start for the 32 kilometers drive via Nepal border to Mirik – It’s a two hours drive – Mirik is a quiet town between Siliguri and Darjeeling – It is known  for its secluded charm, Beautiful Tea Gardens, Samendu Lake, Orange Orchards, Cardamom Plantation and its pleasant Climate – The drive is scenic and so is the place both attracts tourist in hordes – Halt at Seemana for view for viewing of Mount Kanchendzonga – Activity like  boating in the lake is also in the card for guest – On the way visit Pashupati Market in Nepal – Drive back to Darjeeling nearly 32 kilometers and 1 ½ – 2 hour’s drive – Back to Hotel – Late evening free to stroll around Mall or visit some of the pub, Eateries, studio or bakery with cafeteria – Night halt at Darjeeling

After an early breakfast we will proceed to Lachen. The route meanders through small villages with valleys upto forest grove of Kabi Langchuk. Shinghik comes next with its promises of one of the most glorious views of Kunchanjungha. Situated at an altitude of over 4000ft Singhik offers a desired break to the travelers on the way to Lachen . We will have our lunch on the way. Visit Chungthang- the confluence of Lachen Chu and Lachun Chu (river) and Vimnala falls water falls on your way to Lachen. Reach Lachung in the late afternoon. Lachen is also a base for the popular Green Lake trek.

Morning same day excursion to Tsomgo Lake. The Tsomgo lake in Sikkim is a holy lake worshipped by the sikkimese. Tsomgo (Changu) lake, which is hardly 20 km away from the famous Nathula Pass and about 400 km from Lhasa. Its cool, placid water harmonies with the picturesque beauty around, which is increased by its reflection in the lake. A small temple of Lord Shiva is built on the lakeside. Primula flowers and other alpine plantation grow around the Tsomgo lake Sikkim, which has an average depth of 50 ft, provides a pristine beauty to this place. A footpath along the Tsomgo lake takes one to a resting shed – a walk of about half a kilometre. During the winter months the Tsomo Lake becomes frozen.
