At the airport, you will see that Tree Trunk Travel representative is waiting to give a warm welcome and later drive to Darjeeling.

Upon arrival check in to hotel.

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8364 Ft / 2550 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). Later we will visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.

After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included & will be approx INR 180.00 per person), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) and panoramic view of Tea Estate.

Darjeeling – Gangtok (05 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Gangtok the Capital of Sikkim (Alt 5550Ft / 1675M), via Ravangla and Temi Tea Garden. On arrival check in at Hotel. Free evening.

Visit Rumtek Monastery, Botanical Garden, and Santi View Point, Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology, Dodurl Chorten,  Orchid House Flower Show. After lunch visit Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok and Bakthang Falls.

Gangtok – Lachen (120 Kms) (05 Hrs / Alt.- 8,500 Ft.)

Pick-up from hotel at Gangtok at about 10 a.m. proceed to Lachen (130 Km) at an altitude of 9000 ft. On the way stop and enjoy a few  wonderful  locations  like  Tashi  Viewpoint, Kabi Lungstok, Naga Waterfalls, the  confluence  of  Lachen chu  and Lachung  Chu at Chungthang, Twin Waterfalls  and  Bhim Nala Waterfalls. You are likely to reach Lachen at late afternoon /in the evening and will check in hotel.

Lachen – Lachung (48 Kms) (02 Hrs)

After breakfast proceed for an excursion to Chopta Valley (14,600 ft.) & Gurudongmar Lake (18,000 ft.). Gurudongmar Lake offers magnificent view of Mount Siniolchu & Kanchandzonga. Back to hotel at Lachen for lunch. Transfer to Lachen (Alt.8,600 ft.).

Lachung – Yumthanng Valley – Gangtok

Full day excursion to Yumthang Valley.  The valley is covered with snow during January to March & with rhododendrons during April & May. Enroute visit Sulphur Hot Spring having medicinal values. Lunch at hotel in Lachung. After lunch drive to Gangtok. Upon arrival check into hotel.

Excursion – Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

Early in the morning (7.30 am) drive for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake, situated 32 km away from the city at an altitude of above 12,000 ft. & Baba Mandir another 01 hour drive. Enjoy yak ride around the lake (own cost).  Drive back to hotel for lunch. Enjoy your evening at MG Marg in Gangtok.
